Background
What information is important for you to know about me?
When asked to give background information about themselves, most people begin by stating what they do for a living. So let me start there. I am a librarian, the kind that wears glasses and sensible shoes.
Even though I have been blessed with a fulfilling job, as a person on a spiritual path, I live my life straddling two worlds, the world of Spirit and the world of the Mundane. My vocation is to serve as a teacher and a healer for those who are following their Soul Path. I am just starting this work so there is much that I myself am still learning. But there is also much that I believe I have to share.
I started this blog because I found that it was time for me to starting sharing what I know with people who are beginning to unplug from the Machine. As I have worked on this blog I have uncovered my own spiritual path of being a Writer. In particular I am feeling the call to write a screenplay.
I use the nom de plume of Swan so that I may have the privacy to speak freely. Also the white Swan is my totem, an emblem that represents my spirit in the world. Many of you are probably familiar with the tale of the Ugly Duckling. I grew up believing I was an ugly duckling. But like the character in that story I have discovered that I was trying to be something I was not and that I needed to embrace my authentic self.
